Meet Erin
Hi, I’m Erin, the founder of Pilbara Submission Co.
I’ve called Karratha home since I was a kid, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredible people, businesses and organisations across our region.
My background spans local government, community engagement, workforce development and the resources industry. Through these roles, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how organisations operate, the challenges they face and the importance of communicating their work and achievements effectively.
Outside of work, I’ve spent years involved in local sport and community activities. I know firsthand how much time and effort goes into keeping clubs and community organisations running, often with volunteers doing the heavy lifting.
That’s part of what inspired me to start Pilbara Submission Co.
I wanted to create a business that helps local organisations access opportunities without the added pressure of navigating complicated applications on their own.
Whether it’s a grant, award nomination or tender, my approach is simple: take the time to understand your story, work alongside you and help put together a submission that reflects what you do and why it matters.
I’m proud to call the Pilbara home, and even prouder to support the people and organisations that make it such a special place.
Meet the Founder, Erin
Erin Walker is the founder of Pilbara Submission Co, a locally owned business dedicated to helping small business, not for profit organisations and community sporting groups access opportunities through grants, awards and tenders.
With a background in community engagement, workforce development and business support, I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for helping regional communities thrive.
Having grown up in Karratha and raised my family in the Pilbara, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with living and doing business in regional Western Australia.
Throughout my career, I have worked across local government, industry and community focused roles, building strong relationships and supporting people, businesses and organisations to achieve their goals.
Pilbara Submission Co was born from a simple belied; great regional stories deserve to be heard, and valuable opportunities shouldn't be missed simply because people don't have time, resources or confidence to put together a strong submission.
I combine local knowledge, practical experience and a personal approach to help turn regional stories into strong submissions.
My mission statement
At Pilbara Submission Co, my mission is to help regional businesses, not for profit organisations and community groups turn opportunities into achievements.
I believe that great ideas, important projects and inspiring regional stories deserve to be heard, regardless of an organisations size, resources or experience.
Through personalised, affordable and professional grant, award and tender submission support, I aim to remove barriers, simplify the process and give my clients the confidence to pursue opportunities that help them grow.
I'm passionate about strengthening regional communities, supporting local success and turning regional stories into strong submissions.
